Join us at our Sunday Services, Wednesday Evening Testimony Meetings, or Reading Room to learn how to heal as Christ Jesus taught. We’d love to see you!
You may find the hours of our services below. All of our services are held at 259 Godwin Avenue Midland Park, NJ 07432.
Every Christian Science church around the world hears the same sermon based on a weekly Bible lesson from our Pastor, the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. Also, we sing hymns, pray together, and enjoy a inspiring solo.
In Sunday School, children up to the age of 20 are taught from the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures. Students learn about their direct relationship with God and how this enables them to heal as Christ Jesus taught. Lessons include how to live in obedience to the Commandments, Beatitudes, Lord's Prayer and the Sermon on the Mount.
Anyone at this meeting can share how they were healed through Christian Science prayer. These one hour meetings also include timely readings from our Pastor (the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures), prayer, and hymns.

A collection of the most common questions about Christian Science.
What are the teachings and beliefs of Christian Science?
In what ways is Christian Science similar and different from other Christian denominations?
The Bible is the central authority for the teaching of Christian Science, especially the New Testament accounts of the life and ministry of Christ Jesus, whom we regard as the Son of God, though not God Himself. We recognize all people, regardless of their religious affiliation as children of God--not at some future time or depending on whether they embrace a particular doctrine, but now and forever.
Along with other Christians, Christian Scientists accept the virgin birth of Jesus as making him unique in human history as the Son of God. We also view the crucifixion, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus as historical events.
While there is much that Christian Scientists hold in common with other Christians, our approach to rituals differs from most. Christian Scientists tend to see rituals as outward symbols of what to us are essentially inward or spiritual concepts and experiences, though we certainly respect the
sincerity of those who do practice rituals.
The Christian concept of baptism is one example. Our concept of baptism focuses on the spiritual meaning, which we strive to live in daily life. We see baptism as immersing our heart in God’s healing love, which purifies our motives, thoughts, and actions. We seek to do this every day through prayer and by living spiritual qualities such as lovingkindness, patience, compassion, and honesty.

What does “science” refer to in Christian Science?
The “Science” in Christian Science has less to do with a study of the physical world and more to do with the study and application of a systematized understanding of unchanging laws governing the universe, which we see as being spiritual. We see Jesus' healing works as evidences of spiritual law.
Does Christian Science have a Pastor?
Yes, but it’s not a personal pastor as would be the case in many churches. The pastor in all Christian Science churches is the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy.
